After installing current MC versions, Previous one's still installed. How do I uninstall previous versions?
-
I've always uninstalled them just like uninstalling any windows program. Go to "Control Panel" select "Programs and Features" (version 7, may be called something slightly different in other versions) and select the earlier version of Media Center you wish to uninstall. I'll be interested in seeing if someone has some alternative method that is better. I hope this helps.

You may need to run the old version once before the uninstall works.

Thanks. I'll try it and see what happens.

if you can't after doing what Ken said, you might have to reinstall the old version. You can get them all from the top of the old boards on the forum here.

Running it and approving the UAC prompt has worked for me every time recently. It would be nice if the uninstaller could just do this for you in the background.
