Title: Adding silence to MP3'S
Post by: COPICHE on February 01, 2002, 05:15:52 am
Is there any automatic way to add 1 sec of silence to the beginning of  every MP3 in my collection? to them burn them data like that? instead of going to every single one than saving which gives up quality?

And if there is not.... how much quality do I loose if I edit an 128kbps MP3, modify it adding the silence, then saving it back to 128kbps MP3?

A lot.

The best way is to just use MJ's Gapped playback mode.

Will the Gapped playback mode include the 1 sec. of silence on the MP3's at the time of burning the cd as well? or is this only for playback purposes?

It's only for playback.

But you can tell MJ to add a 2 second gap between songs when burning a CD.
