The Media Editor stops responding every time I try to open a file.  Using Windows XP
Any one know to get it to work?   Thanks

Make sure MJ is not running at the same time.

What version of MJ?

In 7.2 Media Editor would lock under XP if you tried to double click  a file to open it, but not if you single clicked it and clicked Open (or was it the other way around? - whichever you're doing, try the opposite). Also, do as JimH suggests, as a lot of people had luck with that as well.

FWIW, 8.0 seems to have fixed this problem.

I have the same problem.  I've downloaded 7.2 and with Media Editor, the program locks up.  Even if MJ isn't running.
