Going to Options > Tree & View and clicking on the ... Select font... link in OS X Yosemite causes MC to crash.
-
I am just downloading OS X Yosemite now. Will MC20 20.0.24 work with it?
-
Yes, it works fine with Yosemite.

I experienced the same crash.

Split Media Center 20 can't be opened
-
I still get the same error in ver .24, that MC 20 can't be opened because the developer cannot be verified. I used the work around by right clicking the application in the finder window and using open.

Hi-res FLACs played from a Windows v20 server are doing the half-speed/half-pitch thing.
[edit: Duh, you may want to know specs.
core audio
integer mode
buffers set for default
files are 24/96]

Further editing the next day:
They play fine from a remote server but not a local server (i.e. I'm in the office now and connected to home). Weird.

When adding a new Library View it doesn't allow me to change the view mode like in the past. It is stuck on "Panes" and I can't change it to "Catergories" as I've done in the past.
-
When trying to "select font" under options it crashes MC20 every single time.

Yes, it's been reported for several months now.

With the initial release of MC20 I was able to change the font but now with this new update it crashes. I've since updated to Yosemite and wish to change to Apple's new operating font Helvetica Neue.
-
It's because of some sort of change in Yosemite - it'll work fine in Mavericks.

Bug report: options -> Audio -> DSP & Output Format
Dialog box stays behind the options window and cannot get the focus (moving from background to foreground)
OS: 10.9.5, on Macbook Pro 2014 and Mac mini 2011
Gone back to MC 20.0.14 and it works fine.

Occasionally the UI becomes partially unresponsive, or maybe I should say does not refresh. The playback info at the top does not update unless you hide the app (i.e. cmd+H it). Same goes for clicking anywhere in the app: hide it, and your input is now reflected on the screen. The menu bar options work, as well anything clickable in the top bar (playback controls, search window, etc).

Playback options don't work.
When I configure my playback options, I have:
(Default) [Core Audio]
Airplay [Core Audio]
Bose USB Audio [Core Audio]
Built-in Output [Core Audio]
The only one that works is Built-in Output [Core Audio] which plays through the internal PC speakers. I can't configure it to play through my external speakers.
When I pick Bose USB Audio [Core Audio] (or (Default) [Core Audio]) I get a Playback problem dialog box saying:
Playback could not be started on the output 'Core Audio' using format '44.1kHz 2ch' which makes no sense to me.
I have a brand new Macbook Pro Retina so the hardware is capable. It does has Yosemite but this issue is not related to that as I could not make it work before the upgrade.
BTW, it does work with iTunes, Youtube, etc so it should not be a hardware or driver issue.

I'm seeing this, also.
In addition, I can no longer change bitstreaming options - I'm stuck on "DSD" (which I normally like, but need to change back to "None" occasionally). Can't change it at all - perhaps related to the above.
