Title: AVI file is not recognized (not typical)

hi Guys,
I have a recent avi file download that for some reason does not show up as ANY type of file when I navigate to the folder via MC18. I can open the folder using Windows Explorer and I tested the file and it works just fine... I opened the properties and confirmed that it was an AVI file - tried to import the folder contents etc.... and nothing. MC18 will not see it? Any help???
