I share my media library from Mac OS X (recently upgraded to Yosemite) to a Windows 7 boot camp partition on Mac Mini. This is most likely more SMB weirdness on the Mac but I just wanted to confirm that MC has the capability to play music and record simultaneously. If I recall correctly it did under MC19. Right now I get an "error with playback" when I try to do both. I should also note that I have had to implement various kludges to force smb1 only on both the Mac and Windows to even get a somewhat reliable connection. (I think a FreeNAS box is in my very near future).

So, yes, JRiver can play back audio and record video at the same time. Once again this is that Apple SMB file sharing incompatibility now in Yosemite; worse than Mavericks. Sorry for posting - I should have known this was a networking issue.
