Title: WDM Driver without MC?
Post by: Al ex on October 24, 2014, 03:37:29 pm
Played around with playing YouTube videos via MC --> different DSP-settings --> Schiit LOKI today - wow, absolutely fantastic! Had fun with equalizer, etc.

Was wondering, if this works without running MC as well? I know this is is extremely unrealistic, but from time to time it could happen that I am not starting JRiver instantly on laptop startup... ;-)

I think starting JR Media Server on boot would be sufficient.  Correct me if I am wrong, haven't played a lot with the WDM feature yet...

I just tested and it works fine for me with only Media Server running. To set to run Media Server on boot, go to Tools > Options > Startup > Windows Startup.
