I tried to install JRiver to my bit older pc with windows 7 32 bit, the program extract buth after that nothing happens?
could some body tell me what i do wrong is it just dont work with win7 32bitt

It should work. Uninstall extra security software that could be getting in the way.

Depending on what security software you have, Many of them cannot be "Shut Down". Even if they have a command that says they do. Norton, Mcaffe etc all have "Shut Down" or "Disable" commands. But when these are activated they still interfere with stuff in the background.
Just a note in case you are still having issues with this after downloading a fresh copy of the install file.

today i reboot my computer from the beginning so no security program at all but it just wont open after extracting the files, just dont know what to do any more.
a bit dispointed :-X

is w7 the native op system for this pc...i had a xp machine that i put w7 on and it would not run MC. put it back to xp and it would not run MC. there are some old mb that just wont run some apps and you may just have one!

What if you extract from the downloaded exe manually (using 7-zip) and then run the installer there?

jokerpatrick, have you downloaded a new copy of http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v20/latest/MediaCenter200030.exe like glynor and Carl suggested ?

This. He almost certainly got a corrupted download.
Or his computer is badly messed up. Hard to tell from the comments we've had from the OP so far.
