Title: device sync - downmix to mono?
Post by: Bill Kearney on October 30, 2014, 08:13:28 pm
I love the device sync feature, but I have one request... could it also support down-mixing stereo tracks to a single mono track?

My child has a Discovery Kids portable MP3 player.  Like this one:

It's not terribly fancy but it's childproof.  He lugs that thing around all over the place.  It's great fun.  But, alas, among it's many limitations is it only plays one of the tracks of a stereo MP3 file.  Right side, I believe.

I'd love to be able to sync the tracks and have them down-mixed.  Any chance of that?

Hmmm, I think this sort of covers it?

Use the DSP Settings, output format 1 channel with JRSS mixing?
