Tried one wouldn´t work....
-
Don't have .aiff
.flac works fine.
I'll try a conversion and see if I can come up with anything.. ;)
-
I am able to play aiff files. Using Ubuntu 14.04.
-
Could you share a copy of one that doesn't work?
There was a problem we recently fixed where an AIFF would report that it's tag was one byte longer than the data (so we failed to read the tag). I don't think the fix is on Linux yet.

I have 0ver 700mb of Aiff and I´ve tried several of them and non of them worked, but you can try this one:
Try this one:https://www.dropbox.com/s/uhzj0j28f5il6j2/09.%20I%27ve%20Gone%20Away.aif?dl=0

That AIF imports and plays properly with the latest MC20 for Windows.

Working fine for me in the current linux build.
-
I converted one copy to flac and it plays just fine, but not the Aiff I get:"Sommething went wrong with playback".
I have the newest verision 14.10.
Is there a setting I must do?

14.10 of what?
Oh you mean Ubuntu.
The only supported distro is Debian Wheezy 32 bit.
I was referring to the build of MC which is 20.0.31

The only thing the OS has to do with the issue is whether or not the Audio device can be opened at the correct sample rate and output format.

Ok is there a test I can do to find out what is wrong?
