Title: MC20 hangs after sleep
Post by: akira54 on October 31, 2014, 05:39:50 pm
I am running MC 20 (one before 20.0.30) in Windows 7 64 bit on a MacMini. Since upgrading to 20 the program consistently hangs after the Mini comes out of low power mode (sleep). All I can do then is end the task and start it anew. Am I the only one who is having this problem? Any suggestions?

It may have something to do with the WDM driver. When I use the standard (AMD)HDMI Output driver the sleep problem disappears.

I certainly haven't encountered that, though I'm not using my Mini in Boot Camp mode.

You were using the new WDM driver as your system default audio device, and changing it back to the HDMI output made the hang disappear?

When I restart MC my WDTV sometimes doesn't show (after many minutes) and I have to restart MC again.
I have been reading the other Hang thread.
All I can say is please don't ask me technical questions. Logs are normally something I chop  ;D
I can't even get my library onto the player right now (using playlists as a workaround).

perusing the logs I see lots of LMS errors and have downloaded new drivers. About to restart laptop.
And- a new laptop arriving tomorrow, since this old Probook has had a hard life.

It's the Media Center log I want to see.  Help > Logging in the program.

I'll get there gents.
New (to me) laptop issues all afternoon. JRiver not installed.
Haven't tried it since it hung last...
Certainly haven't tried it with NOD uninstalled.
