Title: Exclude files in library from shuffle play
Post by: kstich on November 03, 2014, 01:43:46 pm
I am interested to know if there is a way to exclude certain files from playing during shuffle. For example, my My Music folder holds everything, I have some Christmas music in the directory that I do not want to hear unless I choose to. Same for the kids lullaby's. I don't use smartlists and don't want to have to explain these to my significant other. I would like to just be able to tag these so they do not play when shuffle is on. Another use case would be to selectively remove songs you don't like from playing, there are quite a few of these in my library, but I would rather just exclude it from playing than remove it completely. Sometimes there are only one or two songs on an entire album that I want to hear. Is there any way to do this in MC? Thanks!

I think a easy way is to rate them 1 star
