Title: start a given radio steam at startup.
Post by: fredele on November 06, 2014, 02:00:53 am
With MC, you can choose to launch the app. at windows startup, and to play the previous loaded file.
What if you want to play it a specific file ? I mean automatically, at startup ..

The question is from the german forum :
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=93084.0 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=93084.0)

I adviced to create a .bat file in the windows startup folder which launches MC with the launcher

Basically, the idea is :

timeout 10
start mc19.exe /Play "http://stream.srg-ssr.ch/m/drs3/mp3_128"

The timeout is meant to wait for the computer to have etablished the internet connection ...
Is there an other workaround ? Some other idea ?

Thanks for your time and help. Any little plug-in ?

Actually the following options must be set in JRiver MC

-> empty playlist on close
-> play current playlist on startup

Another idea ? nobody ?

Thanks !
