Title: How to: send unmanipulated files to a media renderer (audiophile, renderer, PSAudio DSD)

I want to send files over Ethernet to a device which will do all of the rendering, conversion (DAC & other), what are the settings to achieve this?
I may also do the same over USB, is the set-up different?
