Title: second lap top

here is where i am at
 
i have a dedicated lap top for music
 
i use jriver
 
i have a second lap top that i want to stream music from the dedicated laptop to  
 
in order to play my files i need a player on the second laptop
 
should i put jriver on that as well or what do you recommend?

You can use JRiver to do that.  Start by reading this:

He answered your question - 'You can use JRiver to do that' = he was recommending that you use JRiver on the second laptop.  The link was the Wiki article to help you get the two installations connected together.

media player 19 won't open and install and media player 20 wants 29 dollars to upgrade

why is this so difficult?
