Title: subtitles always show on DLNA?
Post by: ferday on November 13, 2014, 10:41:06 pm
i keep all my subtitles around in (usuallly) .srt files

when i play from MC in the theater, for whatever reason the .srt are always on (usually english, which is what i'm watching in anyways..) but of course it's a simple thing to right click and turn off .srt

however...when i play over DLNA i can't seem to turn them off!?   This is a new problem with one of the MC20 builds (couldn't pinpoint which one)

i nearly always pull from the WDTV, i sometimes push when it's just me using it (which then i can turn off in MC) but i can't turn it off when i pull

any thoughts?  i can't find anything in the options that may help...even when i turn everything off it still shows in DLNA

hi ferday,

Try Options > Video > Subtitles & Language > Subtitle mode: do not show subtitles

It will save you from subtitles in theater, not sure when using DLNA but might do the trick.
