Just can't figure this out in MC20 for Linux.
I have it working fine in my old copy of MC15, both by url and in playlist.
But in Linux I can't create under connected media as I get message about unsupported web browsing. If try adding as media stream, all looks fine but nothing happens until I get error message re playback
My question then is how do I get a radio stream to the point that I have a file to drag and drop into a playlist?
Sorry if this is really obvious...

Open the stream using File > Open URL.
When it loads, you should see at least one, but possibly a list, of server locations in the "Playing Now" section. These can be selected. Right click and use the menu to add them to a playlist. The Linux version doesn't support drag and drop that I know of.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, that worked to get me to playlist.
My problem is that the normal type of URL I would use e.g. http://bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r4.asx doesn't work at all (for windows only?) Problem with Playback
Searching the web, I tried:http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r3_aaclca.pls which does work but stutters and gives up after about 10 secs. this is a 320 Kbs stream but I'm sure my network is up to it.
Any ideas?

Thanks, I'll try those.
I think my issue with that radio3 stream may be a hardware problem though.
I now have http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r4_aaclca.pls working fine on my Linux machine, but it's a lower Kbs.
