Recently the Colorado Public Radio (cpr.org) changed their streaming format for the classical music. The old format was 48KHz ogg and it sounded very good and rivaled the high bit rate WGBH streaming. Now they changed to 22KHz 64kbpss mp3 and the sound quality went south.
I listen to streaming classical stations with JR MC. Recently I upgraded to JR MC 20. It was fine until the streaming format change. Now it plays for a while and then stuck in a tight stutter loop. WASAPI was always used for playback.
Attached is the zip file with two .pls files included as follows.
New mp3 stream: KVOD-live_classical_mp3.pls
Old ogg stream: KVOD-live_classical_ogg.pls
Is there anything configuration to be done with this new stream?
By the way, when playing the ogg stream, the error message, something went wrong with playback. is displayed. See attached ogg_playback_error.png file. When playing the same file on Foobar2000, it is broadcasting message saying the audio stream has moved and ask me to go to cpr.org/streaming-help for more info.

The streaming problem seems to be MC20 related. I switched back to MC19 and so far no hiccup or stutter looping problem.

Attached is a recording of the stuck streaming sound.
Is there a way to generate the log or trace when JR MC is stuck in the middle of the streaming?

The CPR site (shown below) added two new stream options, Windows Media Player Stream (.asx) and High-Quality AAC Stream (.pls).

The AAC stream sounds better and seems more stable. No hiccups so far.
