Title: Burning Various artist CD's

When burning a selection of songs to CD as an Audio CD,  is there a way to add the Artist to the CD Text data for each track ?  Currently I get "Various" for the CD artist and only the track titles for each track.    

Nero can write these and uses the "/" character to separate the artist from the track title..   Exact Audio Copy (EAC) also reads the nero created discs and recognizes them as various artist cd's and rips the tracks with the proper artist/track info in the filenames.  

Could writing Artist info to the track be an optional feature request if it's not currently available?  Maybe a checkbox to add artist info to each track for various artist compilations?

This is a slightly different query but related to CD burning and it didn't seem worth another thread.
When burning data CDs is there a way to change the volume label.
It seems by default to produce CDs whose volume label is uneditable as "Various".
Can that be currently modified at burn time and if not can that function be incorporated.

Any possibilty of including this functionality?  What's the offical word/design going to be regarding burning compilation discs with CD Text?
