Title: Disable Dither
Post by: 6233638 on November 19, 2014, 10:40:20 pm
Can you please restore the option to disable dithering in Media Center.

When this was last discussed it seemed like this option was going to return but it has been some time now.

Hum yes, I would like to be able to configure dithering again and I know this was mentioned not so long ago.

Thanks for adding this option. The only thing im missing is MC should skip installing WDM Driver during update once you've installed it with the "/NoDriver"-switch.

If you want that, you will need to install manually using the switch.

6. NEW: Added Options > Audio > Advanced > Disable dither to disable any dithering in the playback engine.
Seems to be working well.
Now I can use exclusive outputs again for all my devices and run them at their proper bit-depth, with a VST plugin handling dither.
