When I try to watch a video it plays for a random length of time, says 20 min, then it gets bored and starts playing the next movie in the directory. If I stop that one and start the 1st video again it continues from where it left off. But it is getting to be a drag having to back to the movie I want to watch. Is there a random weirdness setting somewhere I missed that I need to tweak?
Not all videos seem to do this, TV Shows that I have recorded with JRiver always seem to work OK, I think. I am running 20.0.41.

That sounds like the disk that contains the media itself is going offline, perhaps just for a moment.
Is it an external or network disk?

It has happened with 3 different drives: one is an internal SATA a WD 2 GB Green EARX-008fb0, one is an attached USB My Passport drive and the third is a WD Cloud drive on the gigabit network.
Tonight I launched a file from the Windows Explorer and selected Run With JRiver (because it was not working with Windows Media Player) it ran find until the end and then it switched to playing a TV station.

Any chance that a keyboard or mouse is being accidentally used while you watch?
