Title: Uninstall failed and then reinstall failed
Post by: Ghubbard on November 23, 2014, 01:11:13 am
Since I upgraded to MC20, which I love, I noticed that my computer system sounds were gone.  So I tried to uninstall the program and it did not complete.  I then tried to reinstall it and got error about not being able to copy files in a .dll library.  It said to uninstall and install again.
I'm in a loop!
Any ideas to clean my computer of all MC20 app and then start over with a clean install?

Help
George

Try reinstalling as admin.  I don't know what the problem might be.

Also turn off any anti-Virus protection program - possibly it's blocking the install.

If the playback devices are missing, you should reinstall the sound card drivers.

The MC20 installation comes with a playback device driver of its own. This requires elevated rights. If you didn't do this already, rightclick the MC20 install file and choose "Run as Administrator".
