Title: Encoder problem

I installed two encoders. Or shall I say I tried. The first one I tried was MP3 Encoder for MJ 8.0 Date: 1/22/2002 Version: 2.0.42. The install failed. Then I successfully installed LAME MP3 Encoder for MJ 7.0 Date: 4/24/2001  Version: 1.0.19.
The editor crashes when I try to save as mp3. In the setup options, if I choose mp3, I get the error mesage "Cannot create plug-in". Any ideas?

Make sure you have the latest version of MJ 8.

i cannot install that encoder either. where did you get the version 7 encoder is it posible to download mj8 by a means other than trough the check for upgrades method.

when i attempt to install the mp3 encoder MJ 8.0 Date: 1/22/2002 Version: 2.0.42. iget an error mennage from the package installer. "Failed to install package" i have mj ver 8.0.189 beta.
i have no troubles with the ape encoder.
