Title: getting sound to earphones
Post by: pfm555 on December 10, 2014, 03:48:54 pm
Stuck at a hospital for two days and could not get sound to my headphones. I was using the JRiver driver for sound to the speakers of the laptop. I went in to the sound device and changed the default to the headphones but no sound. Tried a  number of time switching back and forth, restarted computer but still no sound. While I prefer JRiver i had plex media installed and it worked with no hitches. don't know if this is a bug or something I did not have set right.

If you changed the default in Windows, it'll work to just pick 'Default Audio Device' in Options > Audio.

Otherwise you can pick a specific WASAPI output, but you'll have to pick the right one.
