Title: Can't record with V8.

After upgrading to v8.0.188, the record function does not work.  I get the following error message:

failed opening wavein system

Then it lists some items to check, mostly on the sound card.  Version 7 has worked fine for me for several months. There has been no change, either hardware nor software, on my system except for upgrading MJ.

Has anyone had this problem, or have any suggestions as to how to resolve it.

If you email me here johnt@jriver.com I can send you a test program that might help troubleshoot. On your recorder settings page, what does it say for recording device and source?
