Creating a separate thread from this one http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=87954.0
(seeing as my problem is in v20 and is with WebGizmo, not Gizmo)
I have WebGizmo embedded in an iRule page (http://irulethehome.com) to control JRiver with my iPad and Android Tablets (as part of a complete home automation control app)
I suspected that it was something iRule was doing in the process of embedding the WebGizmo page so I tested again today with a regular browser on my Windows laptop and MC still crashed - after about 20 searches or so. The iPad took less searches to cause it to crash.
Both the environments have MC20 crashing anywhere from 1 -10 searches from the http request (WebGizmo). Both systems are on 20.0.47.
This is what is happening on my system as well as another system that setup for a client that has a similar setup (MC, iRule etc)
Its only when searching is done. I can navigate and control all day long without issues. It is only the searching within WebGizmo that causes the crashes. (Searching from MC works fine and searching from Gizmo app and JRemote works fine as well)
Attached a log file of one of the crashes.
I am on .48 in both systems.

I don't think that's a crash log. The last thing is you opening the log.
You want the previous log after a crash.
I just can't reproduce any crashes, so I'll need a log.

hmm.. thought I did that.
Try this one. I just made it crash again.
FWIW it seems that if I pull up WebGizmo and search right away it is relatively resilient to crashing. If I leave it for (15 minutes in this case) then it seems to crash on the initial search after having sit for a bit.

Click 'Report Problem' after you restart from a crash. Attach the entire ZIP file that it makes to your message.

this better?

This was much more helpful, thanks. We can see where it crashes, just need to understand why now. We'll work on a solution!

We've resolved an issue that should stop the crashing. The fix will be in MC 20.0.49 or newer, please test once available!

Awesome!
I will do that as soon as its up.
Thanks for the quick response/resolution.

The build is out now.

So far so good. Been randomly searching for a bit here and haven't been able to make it crash yet.
I will test the 2nd system I was having this issue on tonight.
Thanks again!
