Is there an eta yet for an android version of JRemote?
edit
Just thinking of getting a new phone. If JRemote for android is in the pipeline I might just hold off.

Not yet.

I think we`ll just say Q1 2015 for now.
There may be a beta program before the public release.
We are aiming for complete feature parity between the iOS and Android version.

JRemote is a great program. I look forward to the JRemote android application. Gizmo works OK on my Samsung Note Tablet, but JRemote is my preferred program using the ipad.

Thank you emovac1,
Most of the android app is done at this time, but it needs more polish and a few missing features. There will be a period of internal and external testing before release, so can`t give an ETA yet.

Great! If you need beta testers - here is one! :)

That's Great, went and got myself a windows phone though :(
Might sound a little cheeky but is a port for Windows phone out of the books or could it perhaps be a possibility?
Thanks

Angelo,
It depends on how many users would need a WP version. At the moment there is no real demand for it.
Considering the time and effort required to develop and support a new platform, it may not be the right time just yet.

No worries, I'll check in on the status from time to time. I have two ipads, so I'm in good shape with the iOS version.
