Title: Posting
Post by: RobJB on January 23, 2002, 06:55:30 pm
I was going to post a message here but I found that my backspace drops the whole page, delete does nothing, and you can't paste into the box from another program into it. See I can't correct that error I just made. Since this is "customer support" how about a little more user frienidly interfasce. Sorry I can't correct that either. IS it just my macjine or whats up ?

No problem here.  Think it's your machine...

Try using a standalone browser to get here instead of linking from inside MJ.

I think youu are right, it is due to the link through MJ, I'll try a direct web site connection. Thanks

Yah, that fixed it coming straight in from the web. maybe it would be helpful for others to know you can't just run MJ and connect to this site properly (which begs the question of why have the option in the MJ home page?) Now back to the problem I was having before this dumb posting issue bushwacked me.....

What version of MJ are you using?  This may have been fixed in v8.0 (in beta now).

I'm using 7.2.208. I just experimented and found out that things also work normally if I use the pull down help menu (help-interact) rather than the interact click box in the home window. The former runs my browser Explorer 6 THEN links to the MJ site, while the latter seems to go straight to this site without loading Explorer 6 first; so it kind of makes sense that I'd loose features, I think.
