Title: Playing JRiver through two drivers?
Post by: HiRez_Lover on December 26, 2014, 11:38:52 am
First Happy and Healthy to all on the board here. Thank you for all your help getting me set up
with this complicated (but very valuable program).

So here is what I am trying to accomplish...
I would like to play the same music on two different self contained stereos. Both systems are fully functional
with amps and speakers, etc.

System 1:I would play my main system via DAC (usb from Win laptop) so this is hard wired and I use ASIO driver.
System 2: An Audio Engine powered system with a B1 bluetooth receiver attached.  I would like to use
the bluetooth transmitter in the laptop to pair with the B1.

Question: Will this work since only one device driver will be an active one(?)
Has anyone tried this type of configuration with success?

TIA,
Jay

If both systems are connected to one PC, its possible to setup a linked zone that plays to two devices at the at the same time.

The only question to get that to work is if you can play to both systems separately from the same PC, if the answer is yes then you can also link them and have them play the same things!

Check the wiki on zones and linked zones, being on a mobile browser my explanations are falling a bit short.

Thanks for the insights.  Yes, I can play both on the same PC, so this should work.
