Is there a way too not write tool name and tool version when tagging? Under "Manage library fields", i can turn of taggings for fields, but the tool-tags doesn't seem to be in this list?

We write this tag as a good form practice. Knowing what tagged the file is so valuable when debugging. It would allow us to make a fix that applied to a certain build of the program this way.
It's not optional, but it is harmless.

I guess one can see all tag-writing is somewhat harmless, as the amount of harm it can do is limited. But when it comes to tagging, just making fields without the users consent is not harmless IMHO. And to be honest, I cannot see that the developers debugging needs should override the users ability to control their own data. I want to control my own data, and would rather take the risk of some missed ability to fix a unlikely tagging error by some version of the program than losing the ability to control what is tagged and not.

Next build:
NEW: Made writing the tool name and version optional in Options > Audio > Advanced (it's strongly recommended that you leave this enabled).

Thank you very much :) It is greatly appreciated. A minor suggestion though, wouldn't it be more logical, and maybe less "option-cluttering" to have it in the already large list of "library fields"? It doesn't matter to me, I am just glad to have the option. Just a suggestion.
