Title: Possible to stream music from youtube/playlist on tablet on to main MC server?

Hi Guys,

My home has a central audio system (Russound) for 6 zones. It is located in the basement and the MC server is next to it, setup as a SOURCE for the RUssound.
Now I use my tablet with Gizmo to control it from upstairs or the pool. When I have friends over or parties, my guests sometimes bring over music on their phone or use my tablet to play music/videos from youtube. Is there a way they can send it to the MC downstairs so we can hear it on the whole house audio system?

Gizmo is great for playing my playlists already on the MC but can not seem to find a way to use youtube with it unless I VNC to the MC server and then videos get choppy.

Hope it makes sense and didn't confuse everyone :)

Welcome to the forum.  The wiki has a topic on "Media Network".  Start there and read about DLNA.  If the phone supports it, you should be able to play from the phone to MC.
