3 computers all running JRiver MC with their own libraries. 2nd pc C: drive failed and was replaced 2 days ago. I installed JRiver then restored the back up for that pc, went through all the tools-options with pc 1 as the check point.
I can't make 2nd pc stop showing JRiver icon on right side of the task bar! What have i missed?
thanks

Do you have it running as Media Server?

I don't, that's what is so confusing to me and it's only happening on the new install.
I even have windows notificatons tuned to not show it...what's wierd is it shows up in that area on pc 2 but not on pc 1 or 3....wierd...maybe a windows thing that i just can't put my finger on yet...lol

bump
come on guys someone must know how to fix this

Click on it. It's probably Media Server. There's nothing wrong with running it.

A screen shot would be helpful.

You've got the media center server widget running. There is some equivocation regarding the word "Server" in the settings that is causing the confusion.
JRiver can function as a Library Server by enabling Media Network, and configuring server settings etc. You have that disabled, and that is not what's appearing in the lower right hand corner.
If you look under the "Startup" section of Options in the "Run on Windows Startup" option, you almost certainly have Media Server configured to start on launch. Media Server is a tray widget that runs a restricted set of Media Center's functionality but without the GUI. It's called Media Server, but it doesn't necessarily have to serve anything, it's just a way to get certain MC processes running on startup without opening a full MC window. To disable it, change your startup options.

Thanks mwillems but I have been there also and the check mark is by Nothing...that is why it is so confusing.
