Title: Editing Tags on music files on external drives/network drives

I cannot seem to edit tags on music files that are not located on my local hard drive, i just get the read-only error message. How can i use JRiver to edit music file tags that are on my NAS server on my local network?

Make them not read only?

I've never had this issue.  You can easily make the whole drive not read only...

They are not read only files, you can edit the files when they are on the local harddrive, i.e. on my laptop, but if they sit on anything external i cannot edit the tags
