I want to restrict the number of Live tracks shown in my smartlist. I have a Genre=Live.
How can I tell my smartlist to display fewer tracks of the Live Genre.
thanks,
-
Well you can limit the number. It's at the bottom of the Smartlist dialog "Limit number to".
It makes a rule like:
~n=10

Sorry, I should have said this is a "mix tape" and I want to reduce the number of Live songs in the mix.
Using the above number reduces the whole list down to say 10% rather than just the Genre=Live.

You can use ~mix and specify exact percentages...there's a lot of info on the forums about it, I'm on my phone so can't detail more right now

Thanks ferday, yeah I found bits of info about ~mix, but with ratings. I tried but I dunno how to correctly specify ~mix for my Genres.
I tried this:
~mix=2000,10%,{[Genre]=[Live]}
All I get is 2000 Live tracks. I want a mix of 2000 tracks of which just 10% are Live.

i've never tried it, but maybe ~mix=2000,10%,{[genre]!=[live]}
that may get you not equal [live]?
-
~mix=2000,10%,{[Genre]=[Live]},90%,{-[Genre]=[Live]}

Ah! Thanks for all your help :)
