Title: Playing in "Analog Mode"

I turned a friend of mine on to MJ 7.2 the other night and I noticed that when we played a file on his system it had a lot of noise in it. I then put a CD in his drive to see if it was the file or something else. When I put the CD in it displayed "Analog Mode" and sounded noisey also. Are there any suggestions as to what may be causing this. I played the same CD in his machine using the player in Audiograbber and it did not make the noise!

Go to the CD settings page and select "use digital playback".
Also, check in windows mixer (double click speaker icon in systray) and make sure the "wave" volume is set to max.
