We've released MC 9.1.269 today. It's on the downloads page still as beta, but anyone using 9.0 will now see that 9.1 is available as an update.
Thanks to everyone who's helped us get the old girl ready for the love starved masses. They'll appreciate the hard work you did, downloading over modems, staying up til 3:00 AM, writing love letters to developers, etc.
Thanks also to the team, who've given their best and more, day after day. It's a thing of beauty, guys! Really world class software! (I can say that because I haven't written a single line of code for MJ or MC.)
Later this week, we'll crack open Cmagic's wine and a bottle of champagne and a pint of milk for Matt.
-
Nice one guys...its been a long ride but you have done really well with this.
This is without doubt the best software of its kind available for the PC. I am happy to have been able to have been part of it and hope that my occasional whingeing has helped the process rather than hindered it ;D
Thank you all...
Here's to MC 10, Radio APE and the Monkey Music service!!

The product of your hard work is magnificent! JRiver Media Center is far and away the best product in its class. I am continually impressed by the breadth and depth of features you create and maintain. It's hard to believe you are able to do all of this have such a helpful and responsive development team.
Congratulations to all of you!

Congrats on a FANTASTIC job
so, what's up for MC10, and when do we start ? ;D
oh, and now can ya tell us what all the
rush-rush - hush-hush
was a while back? 8)

Using the upgrade feature from within MC9, the reported download size of the update is a measley 1458KB.

Congratulations, JRiver!
You all have done a phenomenal job, producing the most powerful media software available today. Enjoy the well-deserved accolades!

Congratulations to a GREAT version of MC !!!
:D
-
Congratulations on this fabulous product that I just can't get enough off.
And after more than half a year of using it, I am still finding new stuff to play with everyday. :)
-
An awesome piece of software from an awesome team.
Thanks for giving it to us.
-
Yes got to add my thanks and congrats as well - really superb piece of work. Also you kept your sense of humor during the whole process as well. Not easy to do.
Also must mention that you remain the best and most responsive Tech Support team I've ever come accross.
First class guys.
John.
-
Congratulations - you really did a very good job that requires a lot of passion in your team.
But a couple of questions begin crossing my mind at this stage:
What are now your plans to let everybody in the world know that MC9.1 is the best available product in this software category?
How can all of us assist you with this mission?
How many licensed users do you have? (I hope you're not afraid of telling such figures)
When will you start working on the next release?
Do you still wish to receive user suggestions for future releases or are you unable to handle all of them? (I've got the impression that the wish list is neither considered by users nor by you)
Some official statements concerning upcoming plans would be great!
-
What else can I say!
Thanks a lot for all the good work, and the impressive support you give to your users. 8)
Thanks

Best wishes and congratulations. Your commitment to your work and customers is really great to see and the software itself is really amazing. To me this product is an absolute must have, it beats not only all other Media management software - but also any other file management software for ease of use and power. Congratulations.
-
;D ;D ;D Congratulations you guys ;D ;D ;D
-
Just wanted to let you guys know that I am going to tell all of my friends (and enemies) that J River MC is a must have. I'll also be setting up certain family members with MC in the coming months.

Congrats guys. You do an excellent job with this product. I use it everyday and I am ecstatic. Well done. Best investment I have made in a long time.
-
Well, congratulations are in order. Thanks for all your work. Its amazing how much has changed - for the better of course - in the short time that Ive been on this ride (since MJ7). Cant wait to see whats next, but until then enjoy the wine. Cheers!

It's on the downloads page still as beta, but anyone using 9.0 will now see that 9.1 is available as an update.
Yes, if I "Check for Updates", it tells me that MC 9.1.269 is available. However, if I click "Download", nothing happens.
Is that because I'm running my 30-day trial? Can I download 9.1 from your web page and continue the trial? (I suspect I"ll be buying MC anyway by the end of the trial, but I do like to keep my options open where possible.)
-
It should download. Can anyone else confirm this?
You can keep changing versions as you like. It doesn't affect the trial period.
-
Don't know if it may be relevant but it happened the same to me when I first tried to upgrade. I just canceled the display and started over again. It worked the second time, so I assumed it was a momentary lack of bandwith or something to that effect.

Same here.... Tried it twice, but nothing happens.
It's not a big deal, but since it was mentioned here, I can confirm it.
Otherwise:
Also my congratulations for the release of MC9.1!!!!!!!!!
I'm a happy user for almost a year now. Don't use all the advanced features yet (time doesn't permit me....) but it just does exactly what I want it to do. The other features will come later, I guess.....
Just another note -- This Interact forum is also great. I did not enter many remarks but I keep learning from everone else's entries every day!
Keep up the good work!
Steef.

Thanks guys for the great product. I love it, and the near instant bug fixes that you put out.

We're thinking. It's complicated. There is a lot going on here that isn't visible.

Thank you to The JRiver Boys for an almost unbelievable piece of art.
I have been using MJ/MC for over an year now, mostly for audio, but also for image since a got an digital camera.
The program has given me many hours of work but also a lot of fun.
I have to mention all the persons on the Interact with their helping hands when a problem appear. Also the "glad and friendly" talks between the paticipants can sometimes be just as nice as reading a good book.
This is my program and I take every chance to mention it's many good solutions for those who want the best.
Once again THANK YOU and keep up the good work for coming versions.
Take care!!
/Mats

Hello everybody
I'd also like to congratulate all those guys who helped make MJ 9.1 possible! It works great with all the Greek titles I've imported. Tagging Greek names-composers-artists etc. is a piece of cake.
Just a question though: Is it possible to export all this data to excel XP or access XP format??
Thanks
George ;)
