Title: olegausany's issue
Post by: olegausany on February 05, 2015, 12:29:44 pm
I have several issues. To replicate, do the following:
1.Open built in Explorer inside Drives and Devices in the left pane
2. Select a folder from the tree
3. Its content will be shown in the right pane listing all tracks in proper order as separate files plus CUE and LOG file if available at the bottom of the list
4. Now either just click Play right above the list or double click the CUE file listed
5. In either case the Player will be shown in the right pane  listing all tracks in proper order. Then LOG file will be listed, what is he doing here? Than all tracks will be listed second time in proper order
6. The playback will start from the top of list
7. After last track is finished playing, the content of LOG file will be shown inside Notepad window. Why?

I'm using Win7 Pro 64bit with all updates

You lost me with talking about a LOG file.  What do you mean?  What log and where is it?  Is this related to the issue this thread is tracking?

My guess is that he is talking about a text file that is in the same directory as the audio files.  If you rip a CD using EAC, it can optionally produce a log file, along with the cue file, and both are in the directory.

If you open a folder in MC20 using Explorer, instead of importing, then it will try to open all files in the directory, regardless of file type.

You are absolutely correct. And since it is Media payer which only should deal with Music and Movies plus images you call Cover Arts so I have no idea why text files are shown in the Player
