Title: I have a question about sound quality

I'm new to using community forums so apologize for not following any given protocol.  Here is my question.  I've been using MC 19 for the last year and just upgraded to MC 20.  The sound however is compromised.  Meaning my Apple Lossless files sound more like MP3.  When my volume is set at 30 (out of 50) it sounds like 18.  Any suggestions for a setting I may have gotten wrong?  Should I reinstall?

this is just a guess

uncheck ‘Volume Leveling’:  Tools/Options/Settings/DSP and output format…/Volume Leveling
