Title: Output mode with a Hegel DAC

I'm using MC19 on Windows 7 64bit and have recently installed a new amp the Hegel H160 which has its own on board DAC. The drivers are preloaded when you first connect up, and I'm given three choices: direct sound, kernel streaming, and WASAPI. I have assumed the latter is the optimum? Would using the optical toslink work better when set to WASAPI event?
