Title: installed JRiver and no sound to headphones or PC speakers?

Hi
Installed JRiver and no sound
restarted the PC
tried CD, you tube and JRiver and still no audio output
quick fix, ideas?

frustrating isn't it. did you change the default sound output device from the control panel, assuming you're using windows? folks here may need more details tbh.

I did set JRiver as my audio default under volume etc

Try the Audio Setup page on the wiki.

Read the WDM topic near the top of the MC20 board.

Thanks for the input.
I had read the wiki and I have set default on the sound in the control panel
JRiver Media center 20
I cannot choose any other default playback device?
