Title: Aspect ratio calculations
Post by: flac.rules on February 14, 2015, 02:53:13 pm
I don't know that much about how this is handled, so my post might be somewhat uninformed, however:

MC seems to calculate the aspect ratio (of some files, but not all, for some reason), however I would like the calculation to be a bit more intelligent, sometimes videofiles av cropped a line or to from the movie for a variety of different reasons, and I often get weird aspect ratios, even up to 3 or 4 digits like 3411: 1233 (i have never seen that particular number, but a random example). I would like the system to choose 4:3, 1:2.35, 1:1.85 or 16:9 if the aspect ratio is very close to one of the "normal" aspect ratios.

You'll have to write an expression, it's pretty simple I think.  im not in front of mine but I can post it up later
