Every time I try to convert file formats, be it a large batch, or one sone, MC20 crashes, generates a long error report, and asks me to reopen....what's the fix ?
-
What are you converting from? And to?
What version are you using? The latest is at the top of this board.

I am having the same problem. I cannot batch DSD to PCM conversions. I have the latest version installed and using the latest version of Yosemite OS X. I can convert only 1 file at a time (2 files or more will crash the program). Any work around on this?

I got this figured out, you can only convert one file at a time when making batch conversions. I had the conversion set to do 2 fils at a time and this was causing the crash.

Are you sure you're using build 20.0.67? It had a fix for this:
3. Fixed: Crashes in the file converter when using DSP plugins.
I just tested converting a dozen DSD files to ALAC with sample rate conversion enabled and 4 files at a time and it worked fine.

Hi Jim
It looks like it can still get frozen (using latest version) with a large number of files to convert... I had to go to 1 file at a time to make sure it finished properly.
