Hi
Using MC version 20.0.62
When I goto Tools/Options/Services then to "Manage Last.fm Account" - I am unable to reconnect to my Last.fm account
I click on "Manage Last.Fm Account" and then "Connect To Last.fm Account", I no longer get any pop up or any type of feedback to initiate the process...nothing happens
I have closed and reopened the program, have also rebooted - and the result is the same
Can anyone assist?
Thanks

I just updated to MC version 20.0.73 - and the situation is the same

Try an Internet search for Last.fm. They are shutting down parts of their service.

Hi JimH
Scrobbling is still active, I can only see articles re: the shutdown of the streaming music service?
Spotify is still scrobbling for me
Unless I've missed something?

The authorization request for JRiver Media Center to use Last.fm for scrobbling is done through the default browser. In this case, it sounds like Windows doesn't have a default browser set or the correct settings isn't set thus the request to authorize Media Center in your web browser isn't launched. Try this, go to the Control Panel then Click on Programs (assuming you have the default Category view) then click on Default Programs. From there click Set your default programs and once that loads click your web browser from the list on the left side. Click the bottom button Set this program as default then finally click the OK button to close the window. Try setting up Last.fm in Media Center again.
AFAIK, Last.fm shut down streaming services but the Last.fm scrobbling service Media Center can use still works correctly.

Hi
Just an FYI - I tried the below steps and didn't change the error
- Tried instructions re: setting default browser, no change
- Tried changing "Browser Engine" setting from Chromium to IE within MC, no change

For whatever it's worth, Manage Last.Fm Account works perfectly here.
It shows the browser that asks for permission. I click yes and go back to MC and continue.

If you're not seeing the authorization request launched in your default browser, then something's wrong there with your Windows settings.

Hi. I am getting the authorisation launch request after every track but after approving it the tracks never show up as scribbled on my lastfm account.
