Title: AV Sync MCC Commands Wiki
Post by: 6233638 on February 23, 2015, 10:02:45 pm
Just noticed that the AV Sync command does not appear to be on the wiki page (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Media_Center_Core_Commands#Playback_Engine) right now.

The command is: 28036, and any values specified are additive, rather than setting a specific value.
They also don't seem to support zone-specific commands. (sending MC20.exe /MCC 28036,100:6 ended up setting a ridiculously long delay rather than adding 100ms)

I'd add it to the Wiki myself, but it does not seem to be defined in the MCComands.h file (http://www.jriver.com/DevZone/MCCommands.h) so I'm not clear on how to find the specific command name to keep the information consistent.

I edited the wiki:

Excellent, thanks.
As I said, I'd have done it myself but did not know the specific command/parameter information.

MrC maintained that page.  And most of DevZone.

Rather than start a new topic on this, it would be nice if the MCC command was a little smarter.

When you use this command, any changes you make are applied to both 24Hz and the 50/60/120Hz corrections.

Since MC is aware of what is currently in use, it would be nice if the command only affected whichever is currently being used, rather than both. (the values for them are quite different here)
