Moved from the Beta 260 thread.
This is happening with the built card on my laptop and a USB audio output adapter
Hi All @JRiver,
When I pause a track and then start playing another track threr is some of the old track played before the new selection starts.
I use wave out and wave mapper DSP is set to 16 bit source Sample and Channels. Otherwise and outstanding programme
Many thanks for your efforts

Are you using Cross-Fading? Try turning it off.

The only time I used to get this is when I had DFX running. No longer use that. It probably has something to do with a flush command.
Any other DSP's being used?
EDIT:
Also, with WinXP, you should probably try Direct Sound for output instead.

Thanks for the tips all, Lisa I tried that and it made the previous track only played for a shorter time less than a second. Direct sound does not make a difference Asio doesn't work for this sound card. Direct sound gives me stuttering on occassions. MS Wave mapper works best on my Laptop which is a Dell Inspiron 8100.
I will try an complete uninstall later on I this is my last resort technique as I don't like reseting my Preferences.

Yes. I have reported this a couple of times, and so have others. I don't believe there has been any official response, so I guess it's just something we all have to live with. :-/ (Usually, no response means that either they can't reproduce it, or it's just too low on their priority list to focus on.)

Confirmed...
SB Audigy, Direct Sound
No matter if DFX, DSP is on or off
