Title: Can MC20 do this to all playlists when exported?
Post by: broncodan on February 26, 2015, 10:10:39 am
Hi,

I think this may be a simple thing to do but I can't figure it out (I am using MC18 - I posted there but did not get a response so I am wondering if this is something that has been updated in the newest version).

I want to export all my playlists (there are several hundred - so I can't do them individually), and when exported they show a different path.  I know that there is a checkbox for re: relative path based on export location this but it doesn't seem to work correctly (or I am not doing it right).  The reason I am doing this is to use with my Sonos (I load the playlists in and it reads them).  It doesn't work if they are noted as below.

Example (This was from a group export)

K:\Music Collection Share\Music Collection\Metallica\Kill 'Em All\03 - Motorbreath.mp3

I manually changed one and it worked so I need to swap out the bold parts when all of the playlists are exported.
\\NAS\NASa\Music Collection Share\Music Collection\Metallica\Kill 'Em All\03 - Motorbreath.mp3

Thanks in advance for your help.

well wasn't able to figure out how to do it with MC but found this tool that worked like a breeze - simple to use, quick and effective.
