Hi
Can I set JRiver so that all folders shows the same columns? Also after restart or when opening a folder for the first time? For example I do not wat "Rating" "File type" or "filenamn". Or "image stack".
So every time when opening a folder for the first time (it is saying start on folder) I have to remove those. That is very annoying.
Is there a setting somewer so that I only need to do that one time for all? That would be nice.
Thanks

I's like to know the same. It is very annoying to have reset my preferred column presets every time.

I am still struggling with this as well. I simply want to add/remove a couple of columns from my Artists view and MC just keeps bringing back the old ones after every restart.

not sure i understand what you guys mean...
when i add/remove a column in a certain view it stays there/goes away as intended, restarting MC does not alter this...is this what you mean?

Yes. Does not work for my Artists view - no matter what I try to remove - it just comes right back.

Mine just doesn't do this. These are the most frustrating problems as if mine works and yours doesn't I don't know where to start to try and help
You've played with all the options in the view scheme I assume ? I know you're not a novice user...

For me it is like this: There are the 10 folders in the artist view. On top. When i open a folder it is like everything of my settings are gone. For example if I take away the "ratings" column it will be back again after closing and reopen the folder. If I however close the whole MC and not the folder, the settings are remain if start MC again. It is only when I close the FOLDERS that the settings are gone. Looks like they are default again.
