Title: server files not recognized by JRiver Media Center 20

I keep all my music on a dedicated Windows 8.1 server. I have another Windows 8.1 pc on my home network with JRiver MC20. These are all connected by ethernet. I have homegroup setup. When I try to add files to MC20 it does not allow me to choose the files on the server. Help would be appreciated.

I've done the same.

Curious though, did you mean you cannot tell it where teh shared DB is or where the actual content is? Do you have a mapped drive? say

local drive T:  is mapped to //server1/Media?

Do you get an error? What is stopping you? Is it a permission issue?
