HI...
I have noticed that when i play mp3 files or any audio file i don get sound output from my centre speaker when the DD encoding is on...
My Pc is connected via spdif to my receiver with DD decoding...
Centre speaker works with video files...
Any help guys???

You need to look at your channel settings in output format. If you have selected "source number of channels" then I would expect exactly the behavior you're seeing: 5.1 material plays at 5.1 and stereo material plays in stereo.
If you want JRiver to do upmixing for stereo sources (which is a completely separate issue from output encoding like DD), you need to select 5.1 as your channel target, and then make sure that JRSS mixing is enabled in the dialog box below that.

I want to use DD cause it gives an unamtched sound compared with any other player... But the audio doesn come out from centre speaker when DD is enabled for stereo sources.. it works otherwise..

I wasn't suggesting that you not use DD; I was pointing out that encoding to DD alone does not enable upmixing, which you need to get center speaker output on stereo sources. Have you enabled the upmixing settings as described?

Yup.. i tried every option from the output settings... nothing works....

You tried JRSS mixing ?

Tried but it gives pseudo surround... this affects the overalll sound output(loudness)

found the fix for this guys...
jriver has one option in DSP called parametric equilizer2
In that select ADD-> Mix channels
Now In source: select Any working channel(i selected Sorround left)
Destination: Select centre speaker
Mode: select Add or copy
With these settings the centre speaker works
N so all channels work :)
N offcouse in output in DSP set channels as 5.1 and surround as clone side to rear speakers
This should be tried only for stereo sources
