Title: Master License Install Key Not Working (Solved)

Hello.

I've upgraded my license to Master License, and I've been trying to use the install key in my second Mac, but although JRiver Media Center 20 starts with double-clicking the install key in my second Mac, it is not getting registered. What am I missing?

It's nice to hear from you right away.  :) The version I used was 20.0.64, even with version 20.0.80, still no joy.

It's probably a typo in the Registration Code or you're using the wrong one.

Hello, Jim:

I found the solution. I had done everything according to the instruction and double clicked the install key file from Finder, but it hadn't worked, so I checked the install key with my Window machine and found the install key file was supposed to be read by the package installer of MC20.

For some reasons, at my second Mac, the default application for .mjr format was set to MC20 instead of the package installer of MC20. Using "Open With Packageinstaller" instead of double clicking the install key file did the trick, and I was able to get the second Mac registered.

I am having the same problem with the install key on my 2nd Mac. Are you able to provide more information how

to make it using "open with Packageinstaller" ?

Did you install MC?

The Install Key only works for 14 days, then you need to do a Restore.

Hi Dhan,

Sorry about the late reply. If you ctrl click, you will see "Open with" menu. Select package installer from there. It will work as long as the install key is valid.

Thanks for the info. The Packageinstaller is available after I reinstall MC 20.0.94. That was not available when I had the pervious version of MC.
